Or there abouts, to buy a little project with, what would you be looking for and why? Something with the aim to sell in the future. Just curious :-)

Unfortunately I would love for ID xTB with a loveable nature about 4 years ish! I am a nightmare tho, and go for them for their personality and as a result I would hate to sell it on! They also turn their hand to most things too :D

As I am short, I would probably look at getting a 3 or 4 year old gelding to make 14.2hh, event type.

There is always a demand for quality ponies with a little bit of schooling!

If I had £1000 to buy a horse and could afford the upkeep I would be looking for a young filly, either a lovely, preferably black and white gypsy cob or a dales filly, with the proviso they would make 14.2hh.
I would bring them on as my next riding horse. I would probably back it myself, depending on how its nature turned out. I would then use it for mostly happy hacking, maybe some other fun things, possibly endurance or similar, always fancied a bit of fun with that, but my girl is not up to it anymore, and definitely some in hand showing :D

id go for a full tb, or a tbx connie, best horses ive ever had. Id go for 6yr ish, alrounder. around 15-16.2hh. prob a gelding with a smart outlook. but most of all kind. and hopefully no hinden issues

i would find a good bank account or building society that is offering good interest! bank of scotland current accounts give 5% (well my account does). i certainly wouldnt invest(????????????) in a horse you have to fed through the winter. but if i were to buy a horse it would either be a good 14.2 which will measure and has talent ie a nice 3 coming 4 yr old, or a nice rc type of 15.2 for children coming off ponies. the dealing market is seriously c*** at moment, unless you have a world beater that you want to sell at half price!
