What sort of horse would you buy? (bred, age, type) ect
Just wondered as i was window shopping and found a horse that would be perfect for me (if i had 6000 pounds lol) not that i would sell Henry

I would buy a fullly trained, tricked up Grand Prix Lusitano stallion!

A really good one that would have competed for Portugal, and not too old to enjoy him myself! After what I have seen in Portugal recently for this type of quality, I would be looking £50k - £100k easily!

Well out of my budget!

I would buy a Welsh D or Welsh Cross Gelding either a baby (

) or a nice 5 year old .... no bigger than 14.3

... and I WILL before my next big BD

... as I stamp my feet like a 5 year old

Gosh if money was no object I would buy a top youngster with potential to go to 2012 and I would give it to Pippa Funnel to ride or if I could afford a showjumper I'd give it to William Whittaker. Would get great pleasure out of that

I would prob stick with Adrian. He can (or will be able to) do everything I want him to, and then some. A truly supersonic horse would be wasted with me, and all the talented ones also seem to be a bit mental...

if money was no object, i'd buy 10 amazing young event horses of about 4 or 5, and bring them all on. then at least a couple would be sound all the time...!
wouldn't mind a GP schoolmaster and a Grade A schoolmaster for playing around at home, and a few nice 4* horses to get me back up there...
oh, i'd buy Waresley while i was at it, and everyone could come and share it with me!

i wouldn't buy a horse I'd buy a house with land so that i could see Daisy from my bedroom window (and of course she'd then have to have a friend to keep her company....

)

I'd be happy with any horse!! I don't have too high expectations (a big expensive horse would be wasted one me!!) so would be happy with something to do a few local comps on, nothing too taxing and a couple of ponies to play with (and possibly learn to drive)

If money was no object I've always said I'd buy myself a little yard and get my AI so I could quit my real job and do something lovely with horses to keep myself busy. Just got to wait for my numbers to come up tonight now

If I could only have money for horse I don't know if I would, I mean I think me and Pepermill will need John whitaker and Tim stockdale training us (And a small mircle on my riding part), Then theres entry fees, lorry, I think Pepermill and me would need a lehal to be fair and no less then a Jagur saddle....

...And a pair of VERY VERY STICKY BREECHES!

I have access to one in England but he's very definitely not for sale!! :P

Hi Bossanova, Lucky you!! I have just brought a 4 year old, still in Portugal to be broken/trained. Will keep my fingers crossed he is all I hope he will be in a few years time. Going out to visit him soon - cant wait!

I would keep my boy, he's the one for me, but I would buy a schoolmaster, which my lad never has and never will be!

Would be lovely to go to a show without spinning, spooking, rearing etc, and maybe I would start jumping again with the right horse!

carl hester is gay ....sob...sob...

i'd stick with jack he might not be the best but hes my first horse and my late dad got him for me.

I would buy land to build my own yard and house on... then continue to grow my collection of 'useless' (my mothers words) horses, as thats were i get the most satisfaction from, I can't get anything out of somebody elses work... I like to know that if a horse has managed to do something its because of the hard work that ive put in myself

do you know what, I wouldn't want any thing other than my b, but with the money saved on purchasing a potential £50k horse, can I please give up work and put him on mucked out livery so that I can spend the time with him he deserves and buy him lots of new rugs and boots and a lorry and stuff?

is that cheating?

Either a Highland pony or Criollo, that was a RC all-rounder or dressage schoolmaster that was also bombproof to hack. 14.2hh, preferably dun in colour and aged between 6 and 10.
