.......what would you be doing now ?

i remember my mum telling me when i was younger if you stay with that man dont bring him round here and i wont come to see you if hes there !!!
also sell your horse so he can go on to make someone else happy like he did you !

well if i hadn't taken any notice i would be happily married and settled with that man and if i had kept my horse i would have just carried it on and not had such a long break,just imagine what i would have been doing now etc !!
why do we listen to other people so much ??

You need to try and look at it all another way or else you will depress yourself.

You may have been married but you may well have been unhappy and having a break from horses? I bet you did so many other things that you couldn't have done if you had kept yours?

We are all constantly being influenced by other people even if we don't know it. We bounce ideas around all the time.

Try and be positive and be grateful for where you are now. That way you can move on and try to go with your own gut instinct rather than feel you are ruled by others.

thank you,my life is pretty much ok now having been brought up all my life on our farm and livery yard i had a great time growing up,but just wished i had done what i wanted but then i hindsight is a great thing i suppose !!!
 
When I was at school I was told I was 'too clever' (ha ha) to work with horses/animals and I listened, it is something I have always regretted, however I am in a reasonably well paid job and that meant I could at last afford a horse and George is my dream come true!

i would not have 5 cracking kids and i would have given up of the dream for my very own chosen horse if i listened to my folks but no regret on the decisions ive made
