If you look into the bottom of the ditch, that's where you'll end up!

Wow, wonder what happened there?
too fast on the aproach, horse slid when suddenly seeing what it had to jump (so put the breaks on) but as was going too fast, had to jump, and that's it getting itself out of trouble???

Look at these - of 2 riders falling foul at a BE event. The 2nd horse actually broke the fence so it was removed!

Needless to say, I was NOT looking forward to jumping this fence the following year but luckily they had changed it a lot so it was more built up at the take off side so no horses could duck under it!!

If you want to see loads of spills then look at, there's ones from heaps of events!:

I just love the one in Auchlishie, the horse just standing straddled over the white fence with the rider looking at the camera wondering what to do next!! PMSL!

I like the first photo - lands in ditch, horse looks more shocked then her and she comes back out with a grin on her face....wow what a woman!

Do you know if the horses and riders were ok- doesn't seem possible that they could come out of that in one piece. My eyes actually watered looking at those photos

Law - if your asking about the Aswanley pictures, yep they were all ok I believe. I saw the 2nd horse being led back looking ok. The rider was taken away in an ambulance, I think she'd hurt her leg but not sure if it was broken or not in the end.
