- How much do you pay? (And where are you geographically)
- How big is the paddock?
- How did you get the paddock?
- How do you water your horses?
- Were you allowed to put a mobile field shelter into the paddock?

Thanks for any replies!

- How much do you pay? (And where are you geographically) £60 pcm in the south-east
- How big is the paddock? Not sure, about 1 1/2 acres ish
- How did you get the paddock? Saw it advertised in the local tack shop.
- How do you water your horses? A guy who lives over the road fills an old bath with his hosepipe from his house, bless him.
- Were you allowed to put a mobile field shelter into the paddock? Yes (well there was one already there)

It's saying I haven't got enough characters but there's definately more than 10 :S

£5 per horse per week - I have two
Approx 2.5 acres
Through word of mouth
There is a water point within 50 yards. I fill up water carriers.
Yes.

:)

I pay £1 per horse per day. My shetland only cost 50p/day. I live in Surrey.
I fence it, it is about 3 acres, I could move the fence out if I want to.
I asked the farmer to rent it to me.
There is no water, so I have to fill containers and take them to the field, as needed.
I don't need a field shelter so the situation has never arisen.

- How did you get the paddock? Knowing the old tenant, and the people that rent it
- How do you water your horses? Tap on site, so use hosepipe
- Were you allowed to put a mobile field shelter into the paddock? No, but this because the area is protected as medieval site. Loads of trees bordering for shelter though, and it's a 5 minute walk from home, with onsite caretaker :)

Thanks!

I don't know what those letters thing is... normally once you had more than a few words, it's fine. Must be a system problem!!!

I am currently renting a 4.5 acre field. Have 3 ponies and it cost £50 a month which is a complete bargain around where I'm (coast of Essex) normally I pay £15 per week per horse.

Only pain is I have to take contained water to the yard but my own yard is a mile up the road so I just fill it up from there and take it down in my car.

- How big is the paddock? - 7 acres which I have split roughly in 2 plus a schooling area
- How did you get the paddock? - I put a wanted ad on a local saddlery website classified section looking for self contained for 3 horses, responsible adult with references available if required
