If your hat fell off during a fall would you wear the same one again?

Hi, I recently had a fall during a BE event and my hat became undone and came off before I hit the floor. It was undone at the buckle. The buckle was done up correctly and had come undone during the fall. The manufacturers have had the hat back and have replaced all the lining and have said there is nothing wrong with the clasp. I have had concussion and whiplash for nearly two weeks now.
Would you want to ride XC in it again?

Def not for me. Am a born worrier so wouldn't want to take the risk tbh.
Hope you are feeling better soon, makes me wonder how the manufacturers can say the hat is safe when you are still suffering concussion? Or have I misunderstood and they have just said the clasp is ok? If the clasp was faulty do you have any grounds for getting a free replacement?

I've never had a hat where the buckle as come undone, in the years I've been riding...(and falling off)

You were lucky you only came away with concussion, you might not be so lucky next time, ditch the hat and buy a new model!
