Just wondering - insurance nearly up for renewal. I pay approx £30 per horse per month, so £360 per horse per year. They're insured for minimum value (£500) but max vet fees. No public liability (BHS does that!). Is this amount about right?

I paid £284 with NFU - horse insured up to £1000, max vets fees. I paid £260 for equivalent policy on a non-ridden horse.

I pay £25 a month. She is insured for £265! The lowest I could insure for. This is for £5,000 vets fees with £135 excess, and up to £1 million public liability with £100 excess. She is insured for anything up to and including affiliated showjumping/eventing.
