Hi there - I just picked up my new 511 this weekend(used to have a 510) and driving it home I found it a bit juddery when towing. Everything is working fine - brakes, wheels turning, stopped past garage set tyre pressure to rating on door(65psi)and it is towing easily enough but I found it a bit bouncy?

Anyone else noticed this?
Do you set tyre pressure differently from recommended?

Oh and havs anyone got a hitching mirror on theirs - Looking for a suction pad one as the big windoe is where my old mirror was mounted.

maybe just being different to what I am used to.

I put my tyre pressure up to the specified limit and then took it to be serviced...... they let them down to 50psi as said it would be like driving with solid tyres as they would be too hard.....

Try letting them down a bit

Did you ever tow your previous trailer empty? My trailer is bouncy when its empty but as soon as it has some weight in it then it becomes fine.

I would check the tyre pressures with the dealers before altering anything.

Trailers are more bouncy when not loaded, they are designed like that so when loaded they are balanced and stable.

Thank you all - my last one wasn't so juddery when empty but my husband couldn't remember what pressure the tyres were before we traded in- and I am a space cadette when it comes to things like that.
Just when I picked up the new one every bump you hit I seemed to really feel it juddering the car.
Heading out wed will see what like then - if it is still springy I ill drop the pressure a bit.
Thanks Again!
