Does anyone know if the cable for the lights that goes back formthe plug, under the trailer, goes into a junction box of some osrt, or does it go all the way to the lights at the back and then split into components?

The length of cable from the plug that goes into my Nissan, back to where it goes under the trailer is very frayed and I've been looking up replacements on ebay but they all seem to have plugs on both ends.... Trailer is at home I'm at work...hence query rather than just go and look!

Thanks

A friend did mine for me, so I don't know the details, but I got my frayed cable replaced free by my IW dealer as there was a faulty batch. My 505 is an '06 model. Instead of buying one it may be an idea to ask for a replacement.

It was the curly bit of flex that was bad on mine. The black outer was perished & exposing the inner cables.

Yes thats exactly the problem..and without checking, I think its an 06 trailer... I guess just need to find nearest dealer. Many thanks

It just plugs in beneath the hitch. Very easy

We replaced ours with a 'boingy' one so it didn't drag or need wrapped round the jockey wheel:

My trailer is a 2006 model and it too goes into a junction box underneath the trailer somewhere near the wheel arch, like yours tikino . I have the new lead which needs fitting, and not sure if it's something I can do myself or whether I've got to take it into the service place to get done? I can't see it being that complicated - guessing the little plugs you just replace the same as the old one, then tack it back in place. Has anyone done this themselves and can give me some pointers how to do?
