Ifor williams 401 or 403 , why can't i find one ?

Seriously thinking of buying a single horse trailer but can't find one, sure i can go to a dealership and order a brand new one but would prefer good condition used, Are they thin on the ground because there not popular of because they are ? . I would be towing with a Ford focus 1.8 diesel estate . Have been put off by one dealer who said not to touch them and get a double but i would be only 6kg off my towing weight then, any advise please !!

I bought a new single Ifor last year. I wanted a second hand one but the 3 dealers that I spoke to said that they were difficult to find as they were popular and tended to sell as soon as they came up for sale. I'm really pleased with mine
