We’ve owned our Ifor Williams 505 “Classic†(in silver) from new. It is about 12 years old, but has had relatively light use. I’ve only travelled my horse in it, who fortunately hates splashing his legs so has never pee’d in the trailer. So in many ways it is still in great condition.
However, I took it out the other day to use it to shift some furniture (the trailer has been very useful!), and I noticed that a couple of the side panels haveâ€blownâ€, and look like maybe damp has got into them in a couple of small patches down the edges.
I am planning on selling the trailer in the spring as I no longer need it. Has anyone had experience of this problem with their IWT 505/510 - and if so how did you get it fixed - and was it very expensive? If I don’t get it fixed prior to selling it, I’ll obviously declare the issue, but am trying to gauge whether it’s worth getting it fixed first.
