Very excited as finally going to buy a trailer. Would like opinions on the new 506 - have heard mixed reviews so far, would I be better to stick with the good old 505?.

Also any tips/pointers to look out for if I decide to go for a second hand trailer.

Thankyou

I was thinking of up grading my trailer to a 511 and had a chat with the dealers. He said the new trailers are great but doesn't think they'll look as good when there 5 years old as the old ones are very robust and you can take them down narrow country lanes and not worry about the scratches as they don't seem to scrtach but the new ones will look tatty after a while.

He thinks they are very nice trailers but that was the only bad thing he said about them.

I've decided to wait and see

am v please we got in just before they changed them. IMO ifor have tried to keep the cost down as price of steel etc went up so much and I think they have lost quality.

would stick with a 505 anyday. I still think there may be issues to crop up with the 506s

I've gone from a '94 505 to an '09 511, and I do like it

The interior is so much lighter and brighter, and I love the huge front window. The quick release door handles are great too - lots of nice little touches. Haven't seen anything I don't like about it yet, except it does seem to have a slightly rougher ride down our potholed lane than the 505, but that could be cos the 505 has a wooden floor which absorbs the vibrations a little more.

In March, I "upgraded" from a 505 to a brand new 511 and I absolutely love it! It's brighter and bigger inside, and Ali seems to travel much better in it
