Has anyone had trouble with there ifor trailers its one of the older designs but is still only a year old the Aliminuem floor seems to have a weak spot and is coming away from the side, (a dint) the dealers are trying to say the horse has kicked it but even if it had they should hold up to kicking surely after all they do get a battering !!! I would like to hear any of your stories and if Ifor have helped you in such a predicament with such a new trailer.

No, my IW is very sturdy. It is used ALOT & has received many batterings. The rubber on the bottom of the partition came off & I had to have it re-put on but certainly nothing as serious as a floor defect.

I've had a couple of older 510's now and neither have had problems with the floor coming away & one of my horses regularly kicks it when he is nearing home. Doesn't sound right to me, I would contact Ifor - does it have a warranty?

Under current consumer law legislation if the fault was there when you purchased it then the supplier must correct the fault.

Had the same trailer for about 5yrs now (bought it from new) and it has been perfect. Sorry

A previous employer of mine used to hire hers out, and use it for many other things too! I know it took a lot of battering, but never got any more than superficial damage.

Had same trailer from new for last 4 years and used almost every week sometimes more and never had a problem sounds like you have been unlucky
