I have had my Ifor 505 from new since June 2007. I am now considering the pros and cons of trading it in for the new Ifor model!

What do you think of this; is anyone else considering doing similar? I got a very good deal on mine when I bought it, and dont think I would lose much more than £300 by trading in for a new one. Pros of getting the new model for me include the fact that I would be able to choose which side the front ramp will be; we've had a few issues unloading from the same side that Ellie stands, and although we found a way to get round these, it would be ideal to have the ramp on the left, not the right.

Cons are obviously the small amount of money I will lose, the hassle (?) of advertising if the place I got the new one didnt want to trade in, and the fact that no one knows yet if the new model will have 'teething trouble.'

Any ideas and opinions welcome!

If I wasn't going to uni this year my mum would trade ours in, I think the quality of the floors in the new ones are a lot better, ours is only 2006 but mum and I decided after last teamchase when we had two horses in it must be slightly unlevel. If you can put up with trading and you only stand to lose a couple of hundred, why not? Better than doing it in a couple of years and losing a grand.
