Contemplating getting a new trailer as the Ifor williams 505 feels a little tight for my big mare. Unsure of whether to go for the 510 or a bateson ascot/deauville. Does anyone have preference on what is better to tow?

Never towed a Bateson but have towed a Richardson and Ifor. The Richardson has independant suspension like the Bateson and the difference is massive compared to the Ifor. My previous trailer was a IW505 and empty felt like it was bouncing, I thought maybe it was something to do with the height of my towbar. I was told it was correct and recently bought a Richadson and couldnt tell I was towing anything, it was so smooth.

I love my IW 510. I've had it a year now and it's great!

BTW it's a good time to buy now - I got about 15% off the list price as business is slower this time of year!

i love the ifors.
we dont notice our when its attached to the car. and if you have a brake down on a motorway you dont endup unloading into the 1st lane of the motorway
