IH Instructors - Stirlingshire

Hi, I am looking to see if anyone has any contact names and numbers for an IH instructor that does visits in the Stirlingshire area.

I have had my horse for 8 weeks now and he is a lovely lad. I just feel that we would both benefit with some groundwork lessons together. I would rather go with some one who has been recommended than just pick a name off a list on the internet.

Really sorry I can't help! I would love a good Scottish horse person to come down and do some training with us. There are even scholorship opportunities for the right person.

Does it have to be IH or would a good instructor be suitable?

I had a session with Mike Hughes last year when he was in Scotland.

I think I was stressing because I ended up buying a much younger and greener horse and was panicking that he would be too much for me to deal with.

So far so good though. Mike got me through the hardest obstacle and apart from a couple of blips my boy is coming along nice and slowly.

I do suffer with confidence lows now and then when we hit a blip. I thought it would be good to have a ground instructor more for me, we have managed and we are getting there.

Do you know of any instructors.

I know Morag Higgins has Mark Rashid over and Richard Maxwell is up quite frequently in the Fife area if that helps?
