I just had an email from one of the websites Im advertising on. Someone has emailed me asking if I want to buy a 6 month colt off
her!

Um NO!!

I replied politely saying no Im selling not buying, she then replied

oh right ok. Well in that case you might still in interested, although he wont be ready to break for a while yet. Hes only 6 months old, but would make a great winter project and wont make a great kids pony in the future,

She seems nice but I then replied saying, its not worth me buying a colt foal, i only have 3/4 yr olds cos if I had a 6 month old id have to keep it for 3 yrs just to make a tiny poxxy profit!

I was selling a 15.2hh TB allrounder once (had BE evented) stating lack of time as one of my reasons for selling & someone emailed me to see if I'd swop (not part-ex) him for a yearling cob to make 14.2hh! Er... NO!

My reply was polite, but how would anybody think I'd go for that?
