After using my trailer at the weekend I parked it up and forgot to undo the breakaway cable The clip on the breakaway cable snapped. I can replace the broken clip but does it need a new cable? Do I need to do anything else before I use it again?

If it's possible to just attach a new clip great. If not a new cable with a clip isn't much money. I did the same and had to replace both as the cable came off the trailer.

Same here the whole thing, wire and clips complete wasn't expensive

If you feel bad just imagine driving an electric car off without unplugging it.......

New ones won't move if they are still plugged in, but our old van happily rolled back off the sloping drive
