Rainy days mean Granny Gordon doesn't spend all her time clouting the back door to go out and then immediately come back in. Last evening, a dry day, I let her out and in again 7 times.! Always have to give her the benefit of the doubt in case she wants to wee etc. Strangely she loves plodging through any puddle she can find when we are out, but water landing from above is a no no :D

Stanley doesn't like the rain at all neither does he like walking through mud or puddles. Our other BTs were the same and always had to be encouraged to go out if it was raining but they did love to sunbathe, only coming in to the shade when they were almost cooked.

Our Rotties are exactly the opposite! They hate getting their feet wet and will ask to go out frequently to see if the rain has stopped yet.

Zak is a very fir weather dog and would rather be on his nice bed. He refuses to go in the garden on rainy days, but doesn’t care when going on a walk. :rolleyes3:

I love walking them in the rain, far fewer idiot dog owners about.

Ours dislike walking in the rain and make it very clear. If there are any puddles on the track, they will make sure that they walk round, even if that means pushing the humans into the puddle to do so.

Many years ago, one of my teachers had an English Bull Terrier, which she often took shopping with her in the town centre on Saturdays and I frequently bumped into them. He quite enjoyed his shopping trips unless it was raining. I have never seen another dog sulk like he could, he hated the rain and made sure that everybody knew it!
