I'm bored with HHO!!

I can't believe it really but I have got bored with HHO. Does everyone go through this stage or is it just me? When I first discovered HHO I quickly became addicted and spent hours a week on here. Just lately though I find that I am skimming through the post titles and not finding anything to grab my attention. Is this ennui normal and would a couple of weeks break rekindle my interest do you think? I never thought my relationship with HHO would end like this .........sob

I'm going through a little boredom too. But that is a good thing - it means I'll get more housework done.

I like to have a quick look through regularly just to see I'm not missing anything exciting but I don't spend hours on here now - thank goodness - I needed my life back

I go through phases with HHO - sometimes I'll come on quite a lot and post a few times, but often I don't come on for days because I've got bored.

No I think thats normal. When you first get 'addicted' nearly all the posts are interesting because you havent seen the questions or become familiar with the people who post regularly. After a while though it can get a bit boring to log on and see the same queries again and again from new users

If youre like me, at this stage you have to sit on your hands in case you send a fishwife-esque screechy post saying 'use the search facility or look in the archives'....not nice for the new user

. So the short answer is, yes a short break can work wonders

i'm the same, sometimes not on for weeks, then i'm on all day everyday practically.
right now i should be doing housework........

Yep agree with above, only log on every now and then (say about once/twice a week now), but like to keep in touch and am quite happy trawling through the later stuff, not just the stuff on the front pages!! Have made some really good friends on here who have given me some really good support during some really hard times, so like to keep in touch every now and then and like to support others who are in the same boat as me. If I hadn't had that support when I was a newbie my horse wouldn't be alive. That sounds really suicidal soz, I also tune into the jolly posts; give it a couple of weeks. If you've got this far you're a sticker, infact you've got further than me (maybe I've got something to learn LOL!)

Really useful when we have a problem or need to share it.I discovered it when my horse was lame for the fifth time and hopefully last.Like everyone else huge distraction from the housework and other boring tasks.Support is really good for moral when you need a boost.Maybe its only people with problem horses that use the site lol

I come and go; have done for years. Sometimes I'll be on here lots and lots and then I just decide not to come on for a while. Depends really on the time of year and what the weather is doing outside. I often disappear for weeks on end and then pop back.

You're displaying normal HHO behaviour I'd say.

Totally normal - I skip titles and rarely open anything some days/weeks, it is happening more and more now.
