I just got the story of my horse's shenanigans relayed to me today
He's always been a bit of a piglet [understatement] and has his hard feed cut out now and just on haylage.
Which I'm fine with....he however, is not so impressed on lol!
This morning when the horses were getting done, it involved him stalking my boss round the barn [he's got a big loose pen down the centre aisle split between 2 lines of feeders, and then either side of him there's a walkway and then a row of stables down both the long sides of the barn].
He had his haylage put in...took a quick munch, then spent the next 20 minutes literally hawk eye on my boss, watching what and how much she was putting into every single stable. Literally, his head over the feeder, just staring opposite every stable she went to [all 20 of them!] hahahaha.
Every horse was hayed, Sparks was content knowing they all just had the same haylage as him.....went over to carry on eating his....
Then there is one horse who is snuck a sneaky feed in as is on some meds at the moment....which no other horse notices! Apart from Sparks, obviously.
So when said horse got his feed, Sparks then decided to reach through and nick an empty bucket, standing at the gate waving it around in his mouth.
Then, when that got ignored....lobbed it at my boss over the feeder....
Then....when that STILL didn't make food appear....he then stretched through the feeder, into the bin and pulled an old feedsack out, and started cantering laps up and down his pen, holding it in his mouth parading it like a flag.
LMAO.
Then when I turned up there, he's all angel eyes and 'Hello Mummy! Aren't I SUCH a good, clever boy. Don't believe her....it's all lies.'
I was creased up laughing when I got told this. As I sadly, can imagine it all too well. Piggy! Hahaha. Sorry. Pointless post. But still making me chuckle now. Wish she'd videoed it XD
