Just had the chiro out again to see my trouble of a horse and she thinks that he may have kissing spines at T14!!! Really worried now have the vet coming out in the morning, think he will have to refer him but am just worried as he is not insured for stiffles, front tendons or his front feet!! But from reading on line he does have classic kissing spine symptoms ie not wanting to go into canter or go forwards.........

We are in the middle of treating a mare with KS. I got a lot of help and support when I posted in veterinary. It's not something I've had experience before. She is being treated with anti inflammatory and steroids and physio and has shown some good improvement. I have to say that I'm getting a bit worried about our insurance they were informed from before going for the initial xrays that KS was suspected and told us we were covered for the treatment including Physio but now they keep requesting more information and I'm not entirely happy, I get the distinct impression they are trying to wriggle out of paying.
