Okay, plan was to sell my little soul mate and get a horse. Then last thurs my instructor said she had spotted a neddy in H&H and he was worth a look.
So today i went to see him, AND I LOVED HIM!!
He is a 4 nearly 5 y/o, TBx Welsh and is 15.3hh. He is really sweet!
So tacked him up and watched owner ride him, he was a bit fresh and has a bit of a pot belly as not worked often. He was very nice and was pretty calm.
She also had a little jump on him, so i hopped of after and loved riding him.
I felt like i "fit" him and enjoyed riding him, she then popped some jumps up for us to do.
He just goes into them no bother ( i on the otherhand, faff and interfere)
, even though i was a complete wally he just popped them anyway. The she put it up to 1m, which is big for me as i normally just do 70! i got quite hesitant and he felt and and we didnt do so well, but it was totally me and he was just thinking of me onboard.
So, he is very popular and there are lots of people coming to see him over the next few days...so we put a deposit on him! I couldnt believe it!! My mam and dad were acctually getting me a horse and i still have my little fell.
We have been to see a few and none have really wowed us all, but this chap has, my mam loves him and my dad likes him cos hes brown
I'm gonna go back up with instructor and get vetting sorted but we have the deposit down so he isnt going anywhere
He would just live out (which he does anyway in summer) untill i sell my little fell, then he will get his stable
I'm on a high he really is brill and he will help me progress as he jumps like a stag!
Owner is lovely and very honest and genuine
