Im going to a show this weekend........ what to wear???

Hi Guys,

Im taking Lucy to her first show this saturday, shes been to a couple dressage comps but im getting bored with that so thought we would try our hand at showing,

So anyway im going to take her in the hack/riding horse class and if all goes well with that then the ridden hunter class,

what do we have to wear, gloves numanah, bridle etc??

Help I always get confused with what you wear in what class???

If its a small local show you can get away with either a black/navy jacket or a Tweed (making sure your hat matches).

Plain bridle/saddle and either no numnah or a very discreet one (ideally the same colour as leather but not a huge issue if low level if not). Showing cane. Plain gloves etc but aslong as you are super neat (don't forget the hair net!) then thats whats most important at this level. Also odd number of plaits up her mane for the forelock makes a even one.

thanks for the advice, if I wear my hacking jacket which has purple through it and then my purple shirt and tie, what colour gloves should I get brown or black?

Its still brown gloves apparantly. And to be ultra correct the tack should be brown also, unless its dressage.
