Im going to be a loner!

My friend/riding partner has just found out she is pregnant

but has to move her pony in order for him to be exercised regularly for her and looked after while she is pregnant and until the baby is a few months old. Im going to be a loner! Also my mare and her gelding are mother and son so it will be sad for them to be parted

There are other people at the yard I can ride with but they arent really there at the same times as me...just me and horsey for a few months then

Sorry bit pointless but I am a bit sad

that is really sad. one of the fun things about being in a yard is having company.

I cant change when I ride out as I work silly hours..did think of changing yards to somewhere where I can make lots of new friends and do more things but horsey is settled where we are and so am I. Due to my hours I can come and go as I please etc..she is going to come back but not for about a year. I suppose a year of bonding wont do us any harm

one of my liveries said today that her friend has put her horse somewhere else cuase she is pregnant...wonder if its the same one?

or is plymouth a fertile place to be

hehe maybe a fertile place! My friend isnt moving for another 5 weeks yet so probably a different one. There are other people who I can have a gossip with while Im there..just a bit sad as we ride out a lot and horseys have the bond etc. Oh well we'l explore on our own all summer..will be quite exciting!
