He dropped the car keys with the immobiliser clicky thingy for MY CAR into the Septic tank!!!!!!!!!

Well, he can scuba dive cant he? So, best he gets the gear on and finds them! We havent got another Clicky thingy so car wont be going any where for a while!!

OMG. Mine threw ours into a pond once - he was trying to get the dog to jump in whilst he had them in his hand. The pond had a concrete bottom and clear water though so the keys were quite easy to find. Can't see you finding yours in a hurry!

If it only does the immobiliser a competent auto electrician or even RAC patrol man can bypass that for you by taking out the immobiliser circuit from the ignition.

I managed to lose my immobiliser thingy in the mud at the Royal Show, how stupid did I feel with 4x4, trailer, pony, keys and car that wouldn't go - but the RAC sorted me out

Fortunately its not the keys to the Landy!!!!!

And anyway I could always use his car and he could walk to work!!

Ooh this is good! He's just said that he didnt drop them in... They fell in!!! Looks like it was the key's fault!!!

oh well, my other half left the patio door unlocked yesterday and was away last night, and i only noticed today, so i could have been murdered in my bed... i was seething, but now i've read of your woes, i've realised it could be a lot worse! sorry, best laugh of the day so far. poor you.

We will get it sorted. Fortunately my OH collects cars so we have a few spares which I suppose is why I can laugh about it. Its his problem really as i dont like the car much. He bought it for me... so he can track it- Get the idea!!!!!

Im quite happy pootling round in the Landy!

And cars can be fixed.

That reminds me of the time he left the keys in the ignition and the engine running whilst he stopped at the newsagents to buy some cigarettes.... Ho.. Hum... car was stolen!!!

But it was 7.00 on a saturday morning so not his fault at all!!!

You just dont expect it do you?????

nothing to do with keys, but we have a tiny little pond in our garden, and about a year ago my sister dropped a big plastic dinosaur thing in it. she spend hours poking around the pond trying to find it, but never did...
