Ok I will explain this as best as I can !!
I kept my horse on his own ( horses in field next door ) on a smallholding for 9 years very happily. Had 2nd daughter who is very allergic to horsey so last July I moved horsey to stay with a friend who is willing to look after him for me. All is great there !!
The chap who owns the smallholding has mental health problems, so much so that I have been caring for him for the past 3 years ( paid) and this is kept seperate from the fields.
It was agreed with the family that I would make good the fields and fencing when I left ( when I arrived I had to muck out cow plop from field shelters etc), anyway..... I had the fields topped, and oh did the fencing and i disinfected the shelters and tidied the muck heao and trimmed the over growth. All done and finished last October and phoned to say I had. I get a phone call tonight.........
Someone is renting the fields in April and the family have walked round the fields and noticed a few things..... could I sort it....
1. can i get rid of the muck heap....wtf !!!!
2. can I cut back the brambles......I did in october,....these things grow!!!
3. there is some dodgy fences..... was fine when i left, oh did it.
Also the tap was leaking in Nov ( i left the july before) but i got a friend to sort it for £30.00 on a sunday !! Its leaking again and they want me to get my friend back coz they dont think he did the job properly !!
Now bearing in mind I look after the man who owns it and dont want to fall out with the family ( they pay me to look after him ) what do I do ???????
Should I get on with it quietly or tell them i am cross......should i be cross or am i being unreasonable?????
