Im horse hunting - what do u think of these?

Their all nice enough, although the first one stands out a mile, I'd be a bit suspicious as he's a very good price, but I'd certainly go and view him and if I liked I'd def have him vetted. Masters horses are usually ridden hard...

The others are all nice and depending on what you like to ride might be a better size for you :)

Thanks Ben - I had a thought that horses that have hunted regularly may have leg probs. He might be a tad too big for my box anyway tbh.

Dingle12 - Im near Chester.

I bought a 17hh ex masters horse when she was 13. I had her until she was 21 and she was never sick or sorry. Her legs were cleaner than most hacks you see. It doesn't always follow, but like the other lady said wise to have him vetted. I think it depends how they hunt. Some people are careful and others have little regard for their horses as they are usually one of several. He certainly is beautiful. The description reads well too :)

Don't know what you're after, but Hovis_and_Sidsmum has a horse for sale.

The first horse is simply fabulous - but big. How tall are you.

Wouldn't give the others much of a glance.

All look nice but it hard to tell

The last one looks just like my warmblood!

Second from last lots about the children but what about when an adult gets on her?!

Th first one doesnt look like the same horse in some of the pictures, or is it just me?!

Depends what you are after really as they are pretty differnt types. I have to say the show jumper would be my fave. The others all seems nice enough generall all rounders could take them or leave them tbh. I know others have said about the first one, but theres just something I don't like about that one actually.

What are you looking to do with the horse? this would determine which one I thought looked good. Basically although you have listed a few realistically you will probably need a stack of 30 adverts to get one to view once you have phoned them. Generally vices and vet failures are not listed on adverts and only come up when you phone and ask. For example one of the adverts says the horse is good to box and shoe. Hence I would ask what it is like to catch and clip...the clues are in what is not said.

As for the top one it sounds like it does not like being in the school and they may be hinting that it is very lazy. Question is when you tell it that today is schooling and it will have to get on with it what does it do then?

Do not necessarily be put off by a dealer provided they show you the passport you can contact previous owners who will often fill in the details more honestly than an owner who is selling the horse.

Im after a nice allrounder to do mainly showjumping rc, fun rides and hacking. I like the first horse but am very wary of dealers as Ive have had my fingers burnt quite a few times. Although he does look lazy in school and Id prefer a forward going but safe horse but he's too big for my horsebox. I will Pm hovis and sids mum.
