The dogs are sitting as close to the fire as possible - but I'm too hot. Do I strip off and put on summer clothes so the dogs are happy - or do I turn off the fire??

We've not long returned from a 2 hour trek - don't think I have the energy for another

I also will go outside in the yard with the dog for ten minutes or so if I am cold, the house then feels really warm when you come back in.
