My friend just brought her two year old GSD to visit me and I am totally in love with her! SDhe is just gorgeous and sooo friendly. She kept giving me hugs

I should think so too!!! Not that i have anything at all against GSD's ... we used to have one

I can understand why you would turn to GSDs with only Labs and Schnauzers to pick from (don;t tell Beastie I sadi that!), what you need is a nice Spaniel to set you on the straight and narrow
