my yard owners just phoned me to ask if i would mind if my gelding could join my pony and the mares in a feild over the winter introducing them very slowly as he is the only gelding living in at the yard i was so shocked had asked her if i could do this over the summer as they both get fat easily and she said she didnt think it would be suitable would never have thought she would have came round to it as it is a big mainstream yard with over 150 horses if not more on the estate and it saves me walking a million miles to taz's groups winter feild as the one the mares winter in is at the back of the yard

im just hoping the mares keep him in check as he's a cheeky bugger lol

He will be fine, my boy is in with geldings and mares, after living alone for around 8 years.

Some geldings get a bit fruity, but only after the mares have made complete tarts of themselves
