But becuse of the horror stories I want her to stay at my present yard but I was wondering where I can find anyone willing to loan a 15.2hh coloured mare at my yard? She's advertised on horsemart but most of the calls I've been getting are people who want to take her away. I'm not interfering as I have a 2nd horse that needs a lot of work schooling wise. So why tell me please am I finding it so hard to find a sharer/loaner? I'd thought with the summer coming up and our brilliant off road hacking someone would snap her up. I'm getting really disharted now so please can someone give me some hugs or pointers of where to advertise for the one in a million sharer I'm looking for.

i notice that you are in west sussex, that is such a shame it is to far away for me but your mare sounds lovely. perhaps try notice boards in your local feed merchant. i hope you find the right person soon. it is really hard to find a genuine share or loan like you are offering. good luck with your search

how funny, im in horsham too and was considered "a one in a million sharer/loaner" for many years but alas i bought my own only a few weeks ago. my partner rides too and she may be suitable, pm me where abouts you are. small world! GOOD LUCK if i dont hear from you...........

I had agreed to a share til tonight (fell through, my decision as couldn't get on with the potential sharer). have now decided just to look for an experienced home for my boy and that I want him to actually go away. I wouldn't be able to cope with him here, would want to interfere too much!

I have a sharer who I found through putting ads up in local tack shops, post offices and you could try riding schools as they are full of people who don't own a horse but may like to share.

I think its good to be able to keep an eye on them as they don't always treat the horse they way you want the horse to be treated.

you see I'm not like that I'm so busy with my new pony also I'm up quite late as I work full time. Obviously if they needed help I'd give it but unless they ask for it and they're not making a huge mistake then I'll keep stum.
