As above!!!
Had an XC clinic today and either went too fast or we had some issues getting over the fence as apparently XC fences hold horse eating monsters! It took me a bit to settle back into the XC riding style (haven't done it for 10 months!) and I nearly had one flying lesson when he pecked on landing. Got better as the session went on and we did our first ever full course at the end with only one stop as he was napping back to the others.
How can I improve with the napping? Perhaps I should get my instructor to go to a course with me on my own so he doesn't rely on other horses being around all the time.
Well at least we are both back safe and sound
I should stop being so hard on myself we only had 3 stops over about 28 jumps! Its just the style was errrrr 'different'!!!
