I'm pretty easy going but...

Have you contacted them? I suppose you have to consider that some companies that sell equine products are not always horsey folk themselves (usually are but not always :D) or the website designers may not always be clued up with how things are done, should be done or if something looks bad or gives the wrong impression when it comes to safety or professionalism etc, so it could just be that a bit of helpful feedback might make them realise, they might be really grateful for sharing your thoughts.:)

Very stupid photo, they don't even portray a nice picture. I fail to see why this design would encourage me to buy their showjumps.

It is a picture not a photo though, it is pretty awful and looks like something you see on mass produced toys from the far east!

Perhaps the firm got their marketing done by a non-horsey company?

If the title wasn't UK showjumps, I would have assumed it was an advert made for another country. It doesn't look like it's made for or is targeting riders in the UK. Rubbish picture as well!

Whilst we're on the subject of stupid hat-less photos for adverts. In this weeks Chiltern & Thames Rider there is a half page advert for Parelli, and the main image is a photo of a girl galloping her horse through some water, hat-less.

Ooh what a picure, in fact its the perfect picture of what not to wear on a horse, or around a Horse for that matter.
She wouldnt stay onboard over a show jump in that gear i'd imagine, and if she did and took a fall it would be goodnight sweetheart :D

OMG.gif

Is she wearing trainers as well?
Is that so when she falls off, her foot can get stuck in the stirrup and she can then bounce her hatless head along the ground?
Kx

I think I'm going to contact them as they are a localish company to me- and like some of you suggested he/she may be a great chippie, but not horsey in the slightest.

Thank s for your help
