Just bought a rhino stable rug for £50 in Scats - it was a bargain! Only problem is I didn't really have £50!

Hmm already bought him a half price hw t/o last week from DH.... Technically I'm saving money right? If they were both in the sale...

New horse did come with rugs

Who else is a rugaholic? Are there meetings we can attend?

I have at least 3 of each rug for Cappy, I was very good and did not buy one for a whole 3 months! Unfortunately HOYs rears its head and I know own 2 more rugs!

I have about £500 credit card to pay off, but desperately need to buy another rug - he has a no fill LW and a 220g MW but needs a 100g as his LW is not enough and MW too much right now. But i'm thinking when it is snowing i'll be able to chuck a stable rug under the 100g and make a HW so am in fact saving myself money.. maybe?? Stop me pressing the 'BUY' button!!!

hi i'm also a sarah, i just bought my boy the most beautiful the most lovely orange black and grey tartan weatherbeeta orican turnout although i doubt he'll get the good of it as its 360g and its not as if he's out overnight and he's still growing but i couldnt resist it was on the equestrian clearance website and it was £70 but i can always give it to a worthy cause

i am addicted to buying rugs as is my other good horsey firend x

My little horse (lives out 24/7) is on winter holiday. I put a rug on her for the first time this winter tonight (she is nice and fluffy). Its only a LW, but I know I will change her into her MW before long.
She has 5 (yes thats 5!) turnout rugs, 1 stable rug - hardly gets used, 2 thermatex 2 summer sheets and I also have 4 jute rugs, 4 pony rugs and a thick heavy blanket rug. Do I count as a horder??

Hmm -my hubby says I have a rug fetish!! Eaxch horse has a travel rug, ex sheet x 2 1 wool 1 waterproof- i dont ride in rain! 2 x lw 2 x 100g 2 x 200g 2 x 300 or 360g and 2 x 400g. Each also have 2 x neck covers. I currently have 14 rugs in bags unopened- just in case!! No cure i am afriad.

Thank god - I thought it was only me! Sunny (note...SINGLE horse) has 2 h/wt high necks, 4 h/wt standard necks (one is a "born to roll" so what else could I do?), 2 med/wts, 2 lt/wts, 2 summer rain sheets, 3 fleeces, 1 stable rug, 1 dayglo yellow exercise (bum) fleece, Rambo Bug Buster, 1 h/wt still unused in its bag and 2 unknown weight rugs banished to a dark corner because there's no room on the stable wall. When I can't possibly buy any more for Sunny I buy them and give them to other people just to feed my habit.

The only comment my OH has ever made about this severe affliction was to get all suspicious over a credit card payment to Frogpool Manor. He thought I'd had a dirty weekend in a posh hotel somewhere. I fell on the floor laughing but then had to show him their website to prove it. Oh dearie me!
