Im so mad!!!!

I offered someone some money to buy a horse off them, they said, ok if u want him, he's yours!!! i thought 'great' 'fantastic' then i went and told them i couldnt get the whole amount of cash to them straight away (it is xmas) (and my bday on sat!) Then, this morning, i got to the yard and he'd GONE!!!!!! Gone to a dealer!!!! I cant believe it!!!

Well, the dealer would have given them all the money up front and perhaps they needed it for Christmas. I'm selling a horse at the moment and have had an offer of some money now and some after Christmas but I'm hanging on until someone comes up with all the cash.

I do understand, but to say he's yours, and then not to even let us know that they were taking him to a dealer

My friend has this done to her, the day they went to pick the pony up they were sent a text saying he had been sold because they got more money for him (he was overpriced and my friend offered 500 less that the asking price) I find it irritating that this happens, sorry it happened to you. Next time give a disposit.

You see, I wouldn't see this as dishonesty at all. I would be wary of a buyer who didn't give me a deposit and then started saying that they might not have all the money straight away - unless they were a very good friend. Too many people here have been let down by apparently keen buyers who have gone cold
