I'm not selling, I'm buying and I'm not linking the advert ;)

I haven't actually paid for a horse for years, they usually just sort of come my way! But now I am looking and very rusty on prices ;):o

So, 15.2 mare ISH, came over from Ireland as 2 yr old, had a foal, broken last autumn (now 5). Reasonably well put together but plenty of filling out to do.

Ridden by 13yr old daughter, taken to a couple of meets, hacked out (goes out alone), schooled over cross country course a few times, laid back, easy to do hasn't thrown up anything to worry about so far.

What price would you put on it?

ooh she sounds very much like my mare for sale, was the ad on horsequest & the picture of the mare jumping a red fence by any chance ?

If its not mine i'm going to look very silly :D

Yes, I have to admit that I am really shocked at the prices some people think their horses are worth! It may well say "potential" in the advert but doesn't every young horse? LOL!

LOL - no its not your mare MM but would you mind PM'ing me a link to your ad please (with price) :)

Dear god no! No more! Two is enough for me. I already have a big bolshy unproven five year old and another of the same but of the 3yo variety. I definitely do not want another!

No! No more. OH has started coming to the field to check I haven't smuggled any more in when he isn't looking. Not likely. Horrid louts the pair of them! I should get myself a nice school master. Much easier life.
