I'm so pleased with my boy (shameless brag)

Seems Jen rode Kal today for the first time since the move and he was a superstar . . . sensible in the jumping field, sensible leading the other two (Bailey and Poppy with Becky and Celine on board respectively) out to the outdoor school, went well in the school (lovely left canter) and behaved himself on the canter track going three abreast with Poppy and Bailey without racing or being strong or silly . . . what a very good boy - my turn tomorrow!

He is madly in love with Poppy (who is stabled next to him and is a very lovely, girly version of him), he's made fast friends with Ollie (the gigantic ID who is part of his new herd), he's settling well into his new routine (out all night, in during the day), and he's generally polite with those who are handling/taking care of him . . . with the exception of towing the YO round the yard after she put him in his box and left the door open (he thought he'd go explore!).

This is the best he's settled at a new yard since we bought him. Long may it continue . I'm so pleased with him - and relieved that he is enjoying his new home - always a worry when you move horses.
