i used to compete prince regularly at about 3ft3 untill he starting stoping at fillers and i starting going less and less and havnt had the confidence to ride him at the bigger fences anymore, so my lovely YO jumped him for me this morning, she is much more experienced and confident than me having grade A showjumpers,
she popped him round about 2'3 to get used to him then asked me to pop them up, they ended up about 3'3 with all the fillers underneath, baring in mind he hasnt jumped that height for a very long time! he was AMAZING!!
he did not stop once, he jumped it like it was no big deal!! i was soooo proud of him, YO is going to do abit more at home with him then a few clear rounds and is going to hopefully do british novice on a ticket and hopefully upto a metre eventually! build his confidence up so he isnt bovered at all by the fillers and fences and il do some clear rounds and hopefully the confidence to ride the british novice
!!! im so excited about getting back into jumping again, i love doing dressage with him and were doing rely well but it must get abit boring for him!
on the down side he has a big leg
but hopefully its just fluid!!
