I'm so excited and none of my work colleagues understand why I'm bouncy around my office squeeling this morning!! My problem child dressage horse (took us several years just to get canter properly established and he has been responsible for putting a rather well known trainer in hospital before due to his thug-like behaviour!) did his first steps of piaffe last night!!! And they were proper steps, with his hind legs flexing well at the hock, with good ground clearance, without any temper tantrums or rearing. Proper, correct baby piaffe... and then he went forward nicely in to collected trot before coming back for another 6 steps of piaffe!! PSG here we come! Passage should be easy now as he started to offer it after he piaffed!!! Can you tell I'm excited?!
