Did alot when I was younger, then started back 5 years ago, went with my boys and remembered how much I enjoyed it, and that was me hooked again, leading to buying my own horse, a real childhood dream!. My best memory has to be first beach gallop, can't descripe the adrenaline rush.

i've been riding about 18 years (im not great at maths lol)?!?!?
I think my best memory of riding has got to be from last year, we (me and horse) won our local WH class, because i was competing against an ex boss of mine who told me my horse was a pile of s**t.... obviously not as much of a pile of s**t as hers eh?"?"?

Been riding for a good 25 years - now too depressed to think of best riding moment

Acutally the best was when I rode a horse I was told was unrideable and loopy - this guy put me on her to try and prove a point, not realising I had had her from a 2 to 5 year old and knew where all of her buttons were! Sounds odd, but that day was hilariously funny as he was trying to woo me and wanted to appear all macho

Standing in a line up with some of the UKs now Olympic riders further down the line from me was pretty good too!

Well best memory has to be jumping my first pony who was a 14.2hh at 4ft5 ...and also jumping my last horse in the open class where she won it, she went so sweetly and so bloody fast , turned on a sixpence .

Been riding 20 years with a few years break in between that .

Amanda you know your faults, you just dont need to be so hard on yourself .

you try to hard at times and that can set you back a bit, nothing really to do with your jumping . I think until you are comfortable with your flat and only then, I would then progress onto jumping . xx

thanks... thats wat i have been doing lately just goin back to basics and doing alot of flatwork seems to be helpin me get confidence....so Weezy u any good pics of u jumpin?????

I've been riding 30 years (showing age!)
My best riding experience has been on a horseback safari in the Okavango delta in Botswana. We saw elephants, zebra, wildebeest, giraffe...... we did see lions and cheetahs too but fortunately not on the horses that time! An amazing experience to gallop with herds of zebra and giraffe running alongside. WOW!

Ive been riding 37 years and had my my own for 30 yrs. My experience is deep rather than broad. I still have my first horse plus others Ive collected on the way! Ive done everything from showing, dressage, eventing and driving. The one thing I would love to do is breed a foal!

My current mare was bought to event but we still havent got there!! May have to concentrate on dressage. Id love to be able to afford to give up work so I had the time to ride more!!

My bad habits? How long have you got!!! My worst, I think, is fiddling with my horses head when Im schooling her. And not riding enough through my seat.

My fave memory was when my horse fell asleep in my arms and started snoring and dreaming!!

on and off, it's about 20-ish years.

Probably my favourite memory is the first time I cantered along the beach in Wales, through the surf... although the first hack I ever went on was good, I got put on a massive chestnut gelding called Jupiter, and we rode up a mountain! (well, more like a very big hill really!), but really every time I'm on a horse, is a good time!

20 years - seems all my life.

Best memories:
Fox Hunting in England
10 goal polo in Australia (with an awesome goal)
Spending a week with last years KY Derby winners trainer

Since I was 7, with gapd in between during teens. That'll be 30 + years

many memorable times.... but trekking in Wales was brilliant, if a bit scary! (Lots of valley and huge drops!)Best time was a couple of years ago when tracy, me and nephew went to the woods...

Horses, sensing something completely different, went loopy and Magic put hoof to the floor at every uphill bend

wicked!
