or maybe i imagined it! he can be a grouch at times. he doesn't actually nip, but will pretend to if i'm grooming a ticklish bit or doing up his girth. well, today when i was grooming him, he went to pretend to nip a little more pushy than usual. so i slapped him gently and told him NO. immediately afterwards, he pushed his nose between my arm and body and snuggled for a moment as if he was saying sorry. he doesnt usually snuggle unless he thinks there's something in my pocket. can horses feel guilty about being naughty/cheeky?? or is this a human emotion we imagine horses to possess?
