Following on from the imaginary horses thread, thought I'd put some of the most common things that we all used to do into a poll format, just for fun (this is attempt no. 2 - PC locked out first time!). I bet most of us will be ticking most of the boxes!
 
Has to be said, the ones I didn't do were only down to a lack of access to suitable materials like horsey magazines (banned in the hope I'd grow out of wanting to ride) or a lack of knowledge (I have never heard of lunging, what with being from a non-horsey family, all my knowledge came from reading my mum's old pony books and the Thunderhead books!):p
 
Yep working now :) I ticked them all. :o We used to ride my friends dads sheep. Ronald the ram used to buck us off all the time, Her dad used to go mad at us :p :D
 
You missed the option about going for 'hacks' around the playground at lunchtime with your mates:p My imaginary pony bolted a lot, shows a remarkable level of prescience on my part, given that even now I have an electric bum;)
 
All of the above plus (this one for the children of the 70s) -using your spacehopper as a horse. Anyone else do dressage on theirs?!!
 
I used to put grass cuttings in the saddlebag of my bike so that my 'pony' could eat it while out on our 'hacks'.

hence my bike was usually covered in ants!
