Would you buy an imitation pessoa for less than half the price?

yup I bought one like that about a year ago and its great! love it! wouldn't know how it would compare to an ordinary pessoa but I think they are pretty much the same.

i have got an imitation. Kincade - its lovely

I think the thing to watch is the quality and heavyduty 'robustness' of the clips and pulleys. Oh and get good quality rope too

I got an imitation one off ebay and it's fine. My friend's got a 'real' one and the only difference is that it looks stronger, but mine has been more than adaquate up to now and I've had it a couple of years.

You can get replacement clips from ebay too. Team these up with rope from the climbing sellers and you can make your own colour coordinated ones

I bought one for £21.00 off the internet and its great. It gets a lot of use and I have had it for 3 years and still as good as new!
