Immunity booster

@rabatsa She's 25, had thrush quite badly recently as well as lice over the same period. Quite unusual for her. Could be coincidence but wondering if she needs a little bit of help? She looks like she needs a bit of a 'lift' at the moment.

@Pinkvboots she hasn't, no. Was looking at this last night, she's not displaying the obvious signs (lack of coat shedding etc) and seems generally ok... Could be a potential avenue to explore though?

Perhaps get bloods run, then you'll know if/what she might be lacking or if any underlying ailment like Cushings - and how to address things. Better to get a clinical assessment than giving her varying herbs or additives without knowing what you 'might' be treating for.

My horse didn't have any of the 'classic' symptoms of Cushings. He just seemed a bit lacklustre. Definitely worth testing for.

To answer your original question, vitamin E can be useful, especially at this time of year because horses can only get it from fresh grass. Obviously only useful if your pony is lacking it in the first place though.

Ok, thank you all. I will definitely get her tested - just to be sure. Something is definitely off with her atm. Thanks for all the advice 👍
