Impatient Pony!

My 5 going on 6 year old Connemara is very impatient when he is tied up. He paws the ground and lifts his leg up. He is never strong it is more of a 'letting you know I'm here.' Any advice on how to stop him doing it as much any advice would be helpful!!

Ignore? Not sure there's much else you could do, it's attention seeking really. Does he have a net up when he's tied?

When I had my new pony he did this. I just ignored him. Once he had stood quietly for a while, then i'd start doing what ever it was with him. He's fine now and will stand happily tied up with or without a net. x

Thank you! He does but he hasnt been to keen on his hay he has been chucking it on the floor. I will ignore it and see if this works on him!
