IC looked amazing going down the the start, really up for it. When he was battling with Denman there was a second when he got his head in front, pricked his ears, and you knew he knew he had the other horse. He was just the faster horse up the hill. Denman jumped wonderfully - there was one he just flew and the whole crowd roared.
It looked like the others really did shut the door on KS, but that's horse racing. He almost started to look panicky because he couldn't get a clear shot and I wonder if he just stopped thinking about what his feet were doing for that vital split second. It looks on the video like he was a full 1/2 stride wrong and just went straight through the fence. Very ugly. So glad he got up.
Earlier in the day Restless Harry went down and stayed down, the screens went up . . . when he came out under his own steam he got the biggest cheer of the day.
