Just hit YouTube for the latest heartlands episode. The latest rescue case is a Tennessee walking horse, microchip cut out and victim of soaring.... Only ten mins into the episode but I'm impressed that such a popular series is tackling the subject.

Watching it also - impressed that they are covering such cruelty that people will do to horses in order to win competitions!

Yes, me too and not just that, the whole theft, microchip saga, and neglect is being covered. I love heartlands as a horsey series, but this I think is very impressive because of its content

It's Heartland (no S) btw. I think it's a ghastly show lol, my non-horsey friends love it, my horse friends think the same as me, makes us cringe.

I love and hate that show. Love it for the horsey dream it's selling, hate it as a horse persons because there's so many stupid moments. And those horses last night didn't look anything TWH to me

To be honest, I'd probably not watch any other episodes, it's a bit too mushy for me but it was great to see the terrible issue of the TWH in such a show!
