It has been about 2 months now and they have finally heeled up, however still no hair on the right hind which was the worst. - quite horrid pictures i apologise!
We started with keratex and equichaps but they became worse and worse. The vet put it down to a bad case of mud fever and because of movement they werent healing. He had weeks of box rest with hacking, i think about 14 days of antibiotics in total and the use of flamazine and derma gel. thought i would post some before and after pics as i am desperate to get going again!





this was taken a week ago, the little scab at the bottom has now cleared and its just pink skin, which we are still being careful about untill it is completely hairy again
