Oh I do this too! half comes off in April (blanket clip), then second half comes off in May (upside down blanket clip)! Mines been moulting for a couple of weeks now so brushing until clipping time comes

Always up for a challenge , I will get her a good groom this week. Get her looking semi presentable lol.. shes actually very sweet, had her for about a week so far but known her about two years. She did drag me up the road one time she escaped when she first arrived with the other owner . Thats how I know how strong she is

I wouldn't bet on it! Mine had double coats, the amount of stuff on the floor after a clip was extraordinary.

The trouble with leading shetlands as I found out with mine friend's standard shetland stallion is that you can't use your elbow in their neck to give you some leverage. You just need strength, something I lack these days.
